Gauging is a quick and easy way checking sizes or tolerance off manufactured products, suitable for unskilled or semi-skilled workers and often ideal for mass production. Gauging often doesn't actually measure the work piece and doesn't actually give you a measured size, it simply checks that it is within a manufactured tolerance. Thickness gauges offer the fastest and easiest way of checking width, outside diameter or thickness and can be supplied with a dial read out or digital read out with data output. The thickness gauge lifting lever is used to quickly open and close the thickness gauge between work pieces. Thickness gauges can also be supplied with limit hands for tolerance monitoring or with aceramic tip (to prevent wear due to high usage).
